Dr. Stuart Goodman
In this episode, we hear from Dr. Stuart Goodman who received a 1986 OREF Research Grant to study bone and soft tissue response to implanted biomaterial.
Dr. Goodman is the Robert L. and Mary Ellenburg Professor of Surgery, and Professor with Tenure in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Stanford University. He was Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Stanford University from 1994-2002. He is a consultant to the Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Devices Advisory Panel of the FDA, and former vice-chairman of the Musculoskeletal Tissue Engineering study section at NIH. He is a council member of the NIH National Institute of Arthritis, Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases since 2021.
